Step IV: Slinky Jaw
The slinky jaw gives your skeleton perpetual motion and terrific comedy! It is a small engineering puzzle, specific to you. Your jaw will flap like only your jaw can. Be inventive and patient.
Cut off the jaw and trim away the bottom of the head. |
Fit and glue cardboard to form the bottom of the jaw and the roof of the mouth.

A section of slinky is all you need, maybe 12 loops. You'll have to move the slinky around to see how it hangs, test with duct tape. You might need to weight the back. 3 small pieces of cardboard did the trick here. |
