One Night Stands

Here are a few projects we've done just once.
But that doesn't mean we wouldn't do them again!

Center For Puppetry Arts XPT Show
Live Art installation

Slideshow

Our skeleton puppets are larger than life because they are exaggerations of ourselves, they're a send-up of the quirkiness of living. Precious and trivial. Our choice in building materials reflect the temporary and the profound: the weakness of cardboard and paper carries the power of imagination and memory. Their slinky jaws are in perpetual motion because if the dead could speak to the living— they'd have a lot to say!

Photo Cat! Alley Cat Race and Photo Shoot!

Website

Alley cat racing in Atlanta is full of energy, and virtually invisible. We were interested in seeing an Alley Cat and having the cats see themselves. The 7 photographers at the check points raced their photos to Elliott Street Pub and we projected a slide show on the outside wall at the end of the race. Our participants cheered for the photographs through the whole show. Racing and photography are usually solitary endeavors. Photo Cat turned the racers and the photographers into rockstars! This was a delightful collaboration with Stewart Haddock and Elliott Street Pub.

Savannah St. Partick's Day Parade

Slideshow

Specialty Tile of Savannah commissioned us to build a float for the 183rd St. Patrick's Day Parade. Because the irish love to sing, we re-wrote the song "Oh, Suzanna!" as "Oh, Savannah!" and put the words on flash cards carried on the float. 1000's of people sang with us. We won an honorable mention trophy from the Emerald Society.
